December 2025 School Board Meeting

As a candidate for Transylvania County School Board, I attended the last Regular School Board Meeting of 2025. I was impressed by the updated report regarding how the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, “Building a Stronger Tomorrow…Today,” has been implemented. At schools districtwide and specific group trainings, teachers were provided with AI Training and Planning Sessions. They are moving from learning about AI to designing meaningful, real-world learning experiences with it. Video success stories were provided by eight teachers demonstrating how their students use AI in their classroom in various subjects and grade levels.
